  Dr. Leichter is a very nice guy and I really liked him as a person. I saw him a while back when I was having some serious issues, and I needed help getting a grip on my life and my emotions. Well, long story short, I saw Dr. Leichter for a long time, and kept coming back week after week, but I did not really make any progress. I know that it is not all up to him to make me better, and that he can only guide me, but looking back, I believe he guided me in the wrong direction. He told me what I wanted to hear, but that did not really help me. At the time, I did not have an ounce of doubt in his advice, but looking back, I wish we approached things differently. I happened to know someone else who had a similar experience with him. We truly think that he is very nice and because of that, he'll see things from your perspective and agree with your understanding of things based on what you tell him, but that perspective is why I was there in the first place. At the time, it was impossible to see that, but in hindsight, I wish I questioned my vision and his approach a little bit. A couple of months after I stopped seeing Dr. Leichter and started seeing another therapist, I see things in a whole different way. You might have a different experience but it never hurts to question things (within reason), and be open-minded. I suggest you see a couple different therapists and be open to different opinions.
